Dr. Jacob Cohen, BVMS
A Chicago native, Dr. Cohen’s studies include a Bachelor of Science from The University of Michigan, the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Hebrew University in Jerusalem, and his Veterinary degree from Murdoch University in Perth, Western Australia. Dr. Cohen has been practicing veterinary medicine since 2005. He enjoys working with canines and felines. Dr. Cohen’s furry family consists of his dog, ‘Goldie’. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, going to music concerts with his wife Jessica, and spending time with his son Max and daughter Liv.
Dr. Laura Mowry, DVM
Dr. Mowry received her BA in economics from Washington University in St. Louis. She then went back home, and received her DVM from Louisiana State University. After graduation, she completed a small animal internship at the Virginia Tech Veterinary Teaching Hospital, where she gained invaluable experience by working with numerous specialists. Her professional interests include internal medicine and critical care medicine. Dr. Mowry is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association. She lives in Chicago with her husband, daughters, and their dog “Mavis”.
Dr. Tricia Mullin, DVM
Dr. Mullin grew up in the Chicago suburbs and obtained both her Bachelor of Science in Animal Sciences and Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degrees from the University of Illinois. Her professional interests include surgery and radiology. Dr. Mullin has a passion for all animals and shares her home with her Golden Retriever “Ivy” and her cat “Lemon”. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family & friends, traveling and baking.
Dr. Shannon Darcy, DVM
Dr. Shannon Darcy grew up in the Detroit suburbs, where she obtained her undergraduate degree from Michigan State University. She went on to receive her doctorate in veterinary medicine at the University of Illinois and has lived in Illinois since. Her special interests include soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, and animal behavior. She lives in Chicago with her two dogs, Delaney and Tallulah. She enjoys running, hiking, traveling, and exploring the city.
Dr. Lauren Singleton, DVM
Dr. Lauren Singleton grew up in the Chicago suburbs. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Animal Sciences at Purdue University. She obtained her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Illinois. Her interests in veterinary medicine are behavior, internal medicine, and soft tissue surgery. She lives in Chicago with her husband, sons, and her cat “DD”. In her free time she enjoys running, spending time with friends and family, and watching the Bears, White Sox, Bulls, and Boilermakers.
Dr. Marcy Milkowski, DVM
Dr. Milkowski obtained her Bachelor of Science in Molecular and Environmental Biology at the University of California-Berkeley. Initially pursuing a career in marine biology, she studied the Great Barrier Reef in Australia at the University of Queensland. She then attended veterinary school at Ross University in St. Kitts with a clinical year at the University of Florida. Dr. Milkowski grew up in Chicago and describes herself as a hippie trapped in a city girl. She enjoys concerts, camping, and working in her garden.
Dr. Arian Santiago, DVM
Dr. Santiago grew up in Chicago and the Chicago suburbs. Since childhood she has had a huge love and passion for animals. She received her bachelor’s degree and doctorate in Veterinary Medicine at the University of Illinois in 2007. While in veterinary school she was able to complete rotations at Brookfield Zoo, the Shedd Aquarium and a Wildlife Center in Virginia. Since graduating she has worked in small animal and exotics clinics in Chicago and the Chicagoland area. Her special interests include dentistry, senior care and preventative medicine. She currently lives in the city of Chicago and loves spending time outdoors, travel and experiencing all the art, diverse neighborhoods and music that the windy city has to offer.
